Abiotic Component

Abiotic Component:

The abiotic, or nonliving, component consists of the organic, inorganic  nutrients and climatic factors. These  factors includes:

  • Inorganic substances like carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, water etc. These occur either in the dissolved form or in free state.
  • Organic substances like carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, nucleic acid, etc. These are present in living organisms as dead organic matter.
